Meet Kin

A coach that listens.

A planner, a partner, a tracker that gets out of your way. Built for lifts, Pilates, yoga, runs, rides, swims — anything you do to move. Talk to it the way you'd talk to a coach who already knows you.

A coach, a plan, a weekly rhythm.

Talk to your coach

Text or voice, anytime. Powered by Claude, Kin remembers your goals, your history, and what your body needs today.

Your Week, at a glance

A vertical planning board with sessions, meals, rest days and notes — strength, Pilates, runs, rides, all in one rhythm. Scroll through the week, day by day.

Plans that update themselves

Tell Kin what changed — an injury, a late night, a new goal — and your week and meals reshape to match.

Recovery you can read

A daily readiness score tells you when to push and when to rest — so training fits the life you're living.

Built for the way you actually train.

For every kind of movement

Heavy days, light days, "no sleep" days.

Strength, Pilates, yoga, runs, rides, swims — Kin programs across disciplines and remembers what each one feels like for you. Log a session in one sentence: "four sets of five deadlifts at 100" or "Pilates class, 60 minutes" — and the session is filed.

For returners

Start where you actually are.

No judgment about the gap. Kin ramps gently, builds the volume back, and won't quietly assume the version of you from two years ago.

For busy lives

Plans that flex with you.

Travel, deadlines, sick kids — move Tuesday's session to Friday, swap the squat for something the hotel gym can do, and the plan stitches itself back together.

For tracker fatigue

No fields. Just talk.

Tired of dropdowns and eight-tap session entry? Kin works through conversation, whether you're logging a deadlift, a long run, or a yoga flow. The product is the conversation.

Set it up in a minute.
Coach with you forever.

Details you'll feel.

Honest answers to real questions.

Is this a real coach, or AI?

AI. Kin is built on Anthropic's Claude — you're talking to a model that's been carefully instructed how a thoughtful coach should think, not to a human. The point isn't to replace 1:1 personal training; it's to give people who can't access (or afford) that something far better than another tracking app.

Who is Kin for?

People who train but don't want to plan. If you're already deep in a custom programming spreadsheet you love, you don't need Kin. If you're looking at a blank week wondering what to do — or you've drifted from your routine — that's exactly where it fits.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. Kin runs on iPhone. An Apple Watch isn't required and isn't currently used for live workout tracking — voice and text are the primary inputs.

Does it work for runners, cyclists, swimmers, Pilates, yoga?

All of it. Strength, runs, rides, swims, Pilates, yoga, conditioning, rest — whatever fits your goal. The plan adapts across disciplines, and conversational logging works for any session you can describe in a sentence.

How is this different from Strong, Hevy, or other tracking apps?

Those are tools — they store the workout you already planned. Kin is closer to a coach: it remembers your goals and history, drafts the week, adapts when you skip or move things, and answers questions in plain language. Logging is part of it; planning and adapting is the point.

What if Kin suggests something wrong?

Tell it. The whole interaction is conversational — push back, ask why, change it. Kin adjusts inside the conversation; it doesn't bury you in settings.

What happens to my data? Does Anthropic train on it?

No. Conversations are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses, and under their API data usage policy they don't train on this data. Your conversation history and workouts are stored on your device and optionally synced to your encrypted account. You can delete everything from Settings at any time. Full privacy policy.

Will it work during a workout if I'm offline?

Voice logging and conversational replies need a connection — they're processed on Anthropic's servers. Your existing plan and previously-logged sessions are available offline so you can still train without it.

How much is it, and can I cancel?

$9.99 a month after a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time directly in App Store settings — no email required, nothing to call.

Is this suitable for beginners?

Yes. Tell Kin where you're starting and what you're hoping to do. The plan begins where you are, not where you wish you were.
